Kapsule Coins — Terms & Conditions
Last updated: April 2026. These terms govern the Kapsule Coins loyalty programme operated by Kapsule Group Limited trading as Kapsule (“we”, “us”).
1. Earning Kapsule Coins
You earn Kapsule Coins through the activities listed below. Coin values are subject to change with 30 days' notice communicated by email.

Coins are earned on the subtotal of physical goods only. Gift card purchases, shipping fees, and taxes do not qualify.
2. Redemption
100 Kapsule Coins = NZ$1 credit. Coins are redeemed into your Kapsule Wallet as credit, which is then applied at checkout. Minimum redemption: 500 coins ($5). Maximum discount per order: 50% of the order subtotal.
3. Tiers
Your tier is based on all-time earned coins (not balance). Tier multipliers increase the coins earned per purchase:
- Bronze (0–999 coins) — 1x earning multiplier
- Silver (1,000–4,999 coins) — 1.25x earning multiplier
- Gold (5,000–19,999 coins) — 1.5x earning multiplier
- Platinum (20,000+ coins) — 2x earning multiplier
4. Coin Expiry
Coins expire after 24 months of account inactivity (no earn or redeem activity). We will send a warning email at 23 months. Activity resets the 24-month clock.
5. Clawback
If an order is refunded, returned, or charged back, the coins earned on that order are clawed back proportionally to the refund amount. A negative ledger entry is recorded. Referral rewards are clawed back if the qualifying order is fully refunded within 30 days.
6. Birthday Bonus
Set your date of birth in your profile to receive coins annually. Once a birthday bonus has been claimed, your date of birth becomes locked and cannot be changed by the user. Admin override is available on request.
7. Referral Programme
You receive 100 Kapsule Coins + $10 wallet credit when a friend you referred places their first order. Your friend receives $10 wallet credit. Self-referral is prohibited — we detect shared emails, Stripe card fingerprints, and device IDs. Referrals are capped at 10 successful referrals per rolling 365 days.
8. General
- Kapsule Coins have no cash value and are not transferable.
- Coins cannot be exchanged for cash or gift cards.
- We reserve the right to void coins, close accounts, and forfeit wallet balances in cases of abuse, manipulation, or fraud.
- These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
