This 120cm Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) is constructed from strong 210 denier nylon with a rugged TPU coating, making it tough enough for regular use in demanding conditions. The high-visibility pink colouring and bold 'Diver Below' block text ensure that boat traffic can spot you quickly during your ascent.

The SMB can be inflated at depth by holding the valve open and using your regulator mouthpiece, or by oral inflation at the surface. A sealed built-in over-pressure relief valve allows the buoy to ascend safely without the risk of rupturing under changing pressure. A padded valve cover protects the valve between dives, and the weighted bottom keeps the buoy upright and stable once deployed. For added safety, the SMB is compatible with a diving reel or whistle for emergency surface signalling.
